Newfound Terrain

The last week has been a whirlwind of Christmas window shopping and Christmas web shopping … all in preparation to leave for CT/NY this week. Let’s be honest, a lot of online shopping. Charleston has a wonderful commercial shopping street, King Street, but it is not New York – and there are things that I do need to go on the internet for. That being said, as a result, I have a new favorite website. Terrain at http://www.shopterrain.com. Obsessed. Herewith, a few of my favorite things from the site.

Mason Jar Shaker Set. They are both chic and kitschy at the same time, and they remind me of our wedding flower arrangements. I have already bought some for our kitchen.

If the salt and pepper shakers aren’t enough, there is always the Mason Jar Soap Dispenser. So far I have managed to prevent myself from purchasing this one, but desire may be winning out on self control!

These fabulous and colorful Soda Fountain Straws. Festive both at Christmastime, as well as in the spring. Think about a cocktail party with a signature cocktail featuring these lovely straws. Definitely a crowd pleaser.

This Brass Cylinder Thermometer could be very entertaining in South Carolina in the summer. And it looks so chic too.

This Kerala Striped Napkin Set comes in blue, yellow, and green – and are not too dissimilar to what I used at Thanksgiving. Perfect for a casual get together, or for dinner every night!

These Blackboard Labels are fantastic. Other than mint for cocktails and basil for caprese, I am not a good enough cook to know what different herbs look like, so I have these chalkboard labels in my herb window box outside the kitchen. And yes, they would also look great in pots in your kitchen or on the fire escape.

And I know C.Z. Guest would be jealous of this Brass Hors d’oeuvres Pick Set. Whoa – you could make just about any cocktail finger food look fancy when paired with this gorgeous tool! So for some of your now last-minute holiday shopping needs, visit Terrain! For those of you in Fairfield County CT – they have a location in Westport – which I will definitely visit next week. Enjoy!
