The weekend before last, neighbor friends of ours invited WWB and me out to their farm for a dove shoot and a BBQ. Well having never been to a dove shoot, I was so excited to check it out. Although watching the dove shoot was fun, the landscape of the farm, with fields sloping down to a curving lowcountry river, and huge trees dripping with Spanish moss, was one of the most captivating things I have ever seen.

You know that scene in Field of Dreams where Kevin Costner’s father asks, “Is this Heaven?” and Costner replies, “No it’s Iowa”? I felt a lot like that on that day … but no, it’s wasn’t heaven, it’s South Carolina.
