The polar vortex is really starting to get to me. I know, I know, you all are thinking that I’m crazy because I live in Charleston and it cannot be that cold here. Well let’s just say that this Wednesday, Charleston South Carolina is expecting snow. That’s right, you heard me, SNOW. So in an effort to think tropical thoughts I am sharing a fun beach towel brand with you which I discovered at Indigo & Cotton here in Charleston.
The company is called 8 knots, and it was started in the summer of 2009 in Shelter Island, NY. They come in three additional colors, which are all available through Indigo & Cotton here in Charleston. Click on any of the towel photos to be re-routed to the Indigo & Cotton website. The towels are made of 100% cotton grown in Turkey. No terry cloth here, these towels are quite thin and so they dry really quickly, which is great when you’re on the beach! Not only do they make great beach towels, they could work as beach blankets, throws, and of course wraps and pareos.I’m actually thinking that they would be wonderful towels in a bathroom. We already have two of them in our beach bag, which have been dubbed W’s towels because my husband loves them so much. Perhaps I should go steal one from the beach bag and see how it looks in the master bathroom …
